The Baltimore Ravens plan to close out their season in style. Baltimore native Davon Fleming will be singing the National Anthem at M&T Bank Stadium before the final regular season game against the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday at 4:25pm. This will be the first time Fleming ever attended a Ravens game. “I’ve never been to a Ravens game, but I’m the hugest fan ever. Purple everything. I’ve never been to a game, so this is an honor. To actually sing at the game – wow!”
He was a semifinalist in the singing show, “The Voice” and was eliminated earlier this month. According to the Baltimoreravens.com website, he dedicated a song performance of Beyoncé’s song “Love on Top” to Baltimore.
He brings his own R&B flavor to a shttps://youtu.be/dpE7nvJlOwUong so his version of the National Anthem should be a treat:
This Park Heights native returned home about a week ago to a warm hometown welcome. Mayor Catherine Pugh greeted him at BWI Marshall airport, calling him Baltimore’s Star and giving him a key to the city.
Before his fame, he devoted his time giving back to his community by volunteering in various youth programs. He turned down offers on Broadway to accept a position with the city of Baltimore in the Youth Outreach program.
