The Baltimore Ravens are heading into Week 5 facing some injuries from key players with two players listed as out, one doubtful and five players listed as questionable.
The good news is that some players like cornerbacks Jaylen Hill, Jimmy Smith and tight end Benjamin Watson returned to the practice field.
DT Brandon Williams – foot
He did not practice all week. Williams is a big part of the run-stop defense. Although Willie Henry, Michael Pierce and Carl Davis have been holding their own, they are not Williams.
TE Maxx Williams – ankle
He missed practice all week. According to an article on Baltimorebeatdown.com, Williams was seen in a walking boot after Week 2 against the Cleveland Browns. Coach Harbaugh states that it is not a long-term injury.
CB Jaylen Hill – thigh
Hill earned his spot on the 53-man roster with impressive plays during training camp and the preseason. It is unclear as to when he injured himself but he has not played a regular season game yet. He had limited practice all week.
CB Jimmy Smith – Achilles
His injury occurred sometime during or after Week 4 against the Pittsburgh Steelers. He did not practice on Wednesday and Thursday but was a full participant in practice on Friday.
TE Benjamin Watson – calf
Watson has been the leading receiver since the start of the regular season. He missed practice on Wednesday and Thursday but was a full participant on Friday.
WR Jeremy Maclin – hand
He was a full participant in practice all week so it is unclear as to why he is listed as questionable. According to a Twitter report from Ian Rapoport, Maclin is expected to play Sunday.
DB/LB Anthony Levine, Sr – thigh
He was a limited participant in practice on Wednesday and Thursday but was a full participant on Friday.
DB Lardarius Webb – thigh
He did not practice on Wednesday but was a full participant on Thursday and Friday.
