The Baltimore Ravens are heading into Week 4 with a few injuries. None are season-ending, but any injury that prevents a player from suiting up is a bad injury. The most talked about injury is Brandon Williams.
DT Brandon Williams – OUT
He suffered a foot injury during Week 2 against the Cleveland Browns causing him to leave the game early. He did not travel with the team to London. This will be his second straight missed game.
The team still has plenty of depth with defensive tackles Michael Pierce, Willie Henry, Patrick Ricard and Carl Davis. Can they get the job done?
TE Maxx Williams – OUT
This fourth-year player is becoming very injury-prone. He had a stellar rookie season in 2015, breaking franchise records. He only played four games in 2016 before he injured his knee and required a rare knee surgery. This will be his second straight missed game. He was seen wearing a walking boot.
The team has only two active tight ends on the roster that are not injured: Nick Boyle and Vince Mayle.
CB Jaylen Hill – thigh – OUT
Hill stepped right into position and impressed everyone during the preseason with five pass breakups, two interceptions and nine solo tackles. He was on his way to a great season when he suffered a hamstring injury sometime after the final preseason game. He has not practiced since. This will be his fourth straight missed game.
TE Benjamin Watson – calf – QUESTIONABLE
Watson is not having much luck since signing with the team in March 2016. He tore his Achilles in August and missed the entire season. This season, he suffered a calf injury. Watson did not practice on Wednesday or Thursday but was a full participant in practice on Friday.
He has become the team’s leading receiver recording 11 receptions for 103 yards and one touchdown.
