NFL Draft 2017 – Round 6 – Baltimore Ravens Select S Chuck Clark (186th overall)

Last but not least, the Baltimore Ravens selected safety Chuck Clark  in Round 6 (186th overall) of the 2017 NFL Draft. All Mr. Newsome was thinking  about during this season’s draft was DEFENSE!!

Clark played college football out of Virginia Tech and as a starter during his sophomore, junior and senior year, he had at least 50 total  tackles each year. He recorded 93 total tackles (50 solo) in 2016, 102 total tackles (60 solo) in 2015 and 73 total tackles (50 solo) in 2014.

Clark is a versatile player, playing both cornerback and safety in college. He started 49 games and recorded 292 total tackles (170 solo).

Now, fans can be content. The secondary is full; full of talent and much-needed depth. Clark will be joining veteran safeties Eric Weddle, Lardarius Webb and Tony Jefferson. Here is a YouTube video showing his talent:
